Boo card using LD fonts

I made this super quick card using my Pazzles Inspiration with some LD FREE fonts.  I downloaded them onto my computer, then went to the following folders - Windows - Fonts - (paste).  Make sure your Pazzles software is closed when you do this.  When you have your fonts in your font folder, you can open up your Pazzles software, type your sentiment and select LD Messy Type.

I created a simple 4" x 4" card as seen above and adhered my 3D eyes!

Sweet Monster Pillow Box

How cute would this Sweet Monster pillow box be to give to one of your 'little monsters'?  I have used the NEW LD Sugar Monsters - graphic set to create my toppers with my Pazzles Inspiration cutting machine (99.00 Dollar special).

I used a Pillow Box cutting file found in the Pazzles Craft Room which I have cut out of Kraft card and embossed using my Cuttlebug embossing machine.

I also printed out a couple of the papers from the Sugar Monster Paper Pack and then wrapped it around my Pillow Box.

I then imported my little monster graphic and auto traced her, to give me a cutting line.  I then made several outlines using different colours.

 I printed out one of the sentiments and used a punch to layer it onto a coordinating paper from the paper pack.

Queen Bee Graphic Set

Crikey, this is the quickest card I have made in my life!  The kids are on school holidays, and it is a case of sharing with you some awesome FREE files that can be used to make quick cards.  Obviously, if I had the time I would add some extra embellishments but actually I like the simplicity of it. 

The Queen Bee - graphic set  is DAY 4 of  LD's Harvest Hullabaloo FREEBIE offers.  Each day there are daily freebies until October 31st, midnight MST.  The daily FREEBIES are available for 24 hours only, and then revert back to their original price.

This is such a pretty graphic set and easy to use.

I simply imported the graphics in to my software and Print and Cut the elements out using my Pazzles Inspiration cutting machine.  I mat and layered the sentiment onto pink cardstock.  The background paper is a digital paper which I already had on my computer, which worked so nicely with the sentiment.

Using my Pazzles software I drew a circle around the image and cut it out and layered it onto a scalloped circle.

So, this is how it all looked on my mat.

Monster Menu Party Printables

I thought I would take advantage of the current LD Monster Menu Collection offer.  The value of the collection is only $29 when you spend $12 between October 1st and October 31st (midnight MST). See HERE for further details.

I decided to import just one of the printable toppers into my Pazzles Inspiration software.  I created 2 sized eye balls, one for the topper and one for the drinks bottle.  

  

I created a cutting line, simply by creating a circle around the edge of the image, rather than trace as, the eye ball is a perfect circle.   I  thickened my cut line and coloured it the same as the red part of the eye ball. I then Print and Cut my eye balls onto some sticker paper.   

I took the smaller printed topper sticker and adhered it onto a scalloped tag and the larger one onto the front of my drinks bottle.

I tied some ribbon around my clear box (available from SRM stickers) which I filled with chocolate eye balls and attached my topper with some coloured twine.

Candy Corn Shaped Cards

I couldn't resist making shaped Candy Corn cards with my Pazzles Inspiration, especially with the cheeky faces using my Pazzles Pen Tool!  

I found my Candy Corn shapes in the Pazzles Craft Room and imported them into my software.  I designed my shaped card and used some scraps to cut out my layers.  I swapped over my blade holder with my NEW Pen Tool.  I added my black pen and watched my cutting machine draw the cheeky faces.

I used a SRM's  Party Favor clear box and filled it up with Candy Corn, and used some SRM Stickers - By the Dozen (Halloween) to decorate the box and add to my Trick or Treat punched out label.

So here is hoping you have a great Trick or Treat day with your kids

Halloween Milk Carton Gifts

I adore the NEW release of LD's Milk and Spookies collection.  I have gone mostly digital for this project!  I used the papers in the paper pack with the Milk Carton - Cut It project.  Love these Milk Cartons as they come in different sizes and different combinations which I know I will use for lots of other projects.  I have used the ghost cut out for the Milk Carton on the left and used the plain, short and fatter carton on the right. 

I also had fun playing with Print and Cut using a selection of files.  

I made a topper using LD's Milk and Spookies - Potpourri set.  

The image above shows what my visual mat looked like before I Print and Cut 

using my Pazzles Inspiration Vue.

It looks so cute in pink and just love the look on the ghost's face!

I made a little tag by using one of the toppers included in LD's Milk and Spookies - Potpourri set.  I took the ghost from the carton box and make an outline, to create more definition on the aperture using my bright pink cardstock.

Halloween themed candles using vinyl

Today, I decided to do a quick post using vinyl with my Pazzles Inspiration Vue ($99.00 Special Price).  I have used 2 files from the LD Superstition - Cut It Set which lends itself to vinyl projects, don't you think?

I didn't have any orange vinyl in my craft stash so.......DING!  I reached for my orange candle, I bought several weeks ago and thought it would be perfect, as I would only need to use black vinyl and the orange wax shining through would work for the eyes!

This house was much more intricate, and is only about 3" tall.  I wasn't sure if my cutting machine would be able to cut the fine lines of the veranda and window.  I was so pleased at how well my Pazzles Inspiration Vue cut out the small detail using vinyl.

Please note that these candles are for decorative purposes only and should not be lit.  BUT, I think they will look so good on my mantelpiece amongst a display of pumpkins.
